Institutionalized Koala Ramblings

The new koala is very silent. I suppose I ought to take initiative and speak to him… Wonder if he can talk back? He doesn’t seem to have a mouth. What is it with these humans and adopting us malformed koalas?

Here I am, sitting on top of the monitors again with my cool sunglasses and the only thing that comes to mind is: What should I be for Halloween?

Finding a costume when you’re as tiny as me is rather difficult. I think I’d like to be a moogle. I’ve always thought that the character designers based the moogles off of koalas. Can you explain why else they’d look so sleepy?

Oh, with the excitement of getting new glasses I almost forgot that I’m in a new lab now. Well, not NEW lab because this lab’s been around for a while, but it’s a new location for me. Same sore neck setup though.

Finally. Thought my ears were going to fall off because of how they make me balance on the monitors. Now I’m using my disproportionately largely head to support my weight… how long before it chokes the breath from me?

Sometimes when everyone else has gone home… I go online. It’s hard moving that giant mouse, which, by the way, looks nothing like a mouse! It’s even harder to type, since I’ve only got two stubs to type with. And those keys are really hard to push!

I know I don’t look like other koalas. I’ve checked Google images. Sad.

It’s not easy being plush.

They had a barbecue yesterday and didn’t invite me. Not that I eat meat… it’s the principle of it all. It’s not easy lying upside down on a monitor and looking cute. Don’t I deserve some consideration?
