After my terrifying stay in Korea, I was forcibly dragged back to the States. This time, FASEE took me with her to Seattle, where she’s mostly likely training to be an evil minion of some sort with a corporation that seems to have some notoriety associated with it. I stayed on top of a dresser for almost two weeks, during which time I examined myself closely in the mirror. My travels have taken their toll on me. My previously sleek and healthy hair is now a dull gray from all the stress and abuse.

Being back home has reminded me why my country is better than yours (I’m addressing the USian readers of my blog):

The metric system. Why is the US in the same list as Liberia and Myanmar?

Correct date formatting. Little endian or big endian dates make sense. Who thought of middle endian? Over here, 7-11 gave out free slurpies on the correct 7/11, that is, November 7th.

Roundabouts instead of 4 way stops. They save on unnecessary wear on the brakes if there’s no one else at the intersection, while also stopping crazy drivers from ignoring laws and speeding through.

Sigh. I can’t remember why I left in the first place.

My glasses are still crushing my body. However, I managed to look up some videos of koalas in Australia today on youtube, in preparation for my trip home. Here’s one that I really like. I nearly fell off the desk laughing when I saw the koala on the left get almost knocked out of the tree. The koala on the right is tough. She (I think it’s a she… the video’s too blurry to tell) is a koala with courage and spunk. Maybe I can meet her.

Hey… why don’t I have claws?

Orientation: Upside Down

There’s tons of new people walking in and out and playing with the iPhone today. I tried playing with it when the humans were on a lunch break today, but my paws are too big and I couldn’t do anything except press the Home and Sleep buttons. The touchscreen didn’t work… which made me realize that I’m stuffed and not actually flesh and blood like other koalas. Does this make me a ghost? I feel alive… I feel like a computer scientist. I know where I was born and when I emigrated from Australia. Has my entire life been a lie??

WHO AM I?? WHAT AM I?

Orientation: Normal.
I tried to sit up today. And failed miserably. The weight of my ginormous head made me fall. I fell on my back once and almost couldn’t get up. Why is my head the size of my body?
